Our Story

December 2002: Site Launch

Back in the prehistoric days of the internet, before Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube, Euro-Millions.com was launched. At the time, there was approximately 1/50th of the amount of websites in existence that there currently are today. We began offering information to users on how they could win millions of Euros in European lottery games.

February 2004: EuroMillions Launches in France, Spain and the UK

More than a year after Euro-Millions.com went live, the EuroMillions lottery was launched in France, Spain and the United Kingdom. Euro-Millions.com was able to provide results for the exciting new pan-European lottery for the (then) weekly draw and has been doing so ever since.

Fun fact: In the first ever EuroMillions draw, 8.2% of prizes were won in the UK, 15.8% were won in Spain and a whopping 76% were won in France!

May 2008: The First Redesign

With increasing interest in EuroMillions across the continent, we released the first redesign of Euro-Millions.com. The new design brought about an improved user experience, better navigation and more valuable information for you, the user.

December 2008: Multilingual Versions of Euro-Millions.com Launched

As Euro-Millions.com begins to attract users from around the world, French, German, Spanish, Chinese and Russian language versions of the site are launched. This allowed us to begin offering the same valuable information to multiple new audiences.

July 2012: A Record-Breaking Month

Our busiest month to-date continues to be July 2012, thanks to a promotional ‘100 UK Millionaires’ Raffle draw in the UK. The draw on 27th July also marked the opening of the 2012 London Olympics, which the UK National Lottery celebrated by turning 100 EuroMillions players into overnight millionaires. On that weekend alone, more than 10.3 million page views were racked up on Euro-Millions.com!

September 2013: The Second Redesign

As an increasing number of site users are visiting us on mobile devices, our biggest redesign to date was launched on 23rd September 2013. The new layout was optimised with the mobile user in mind, bringing a modern design and improved navigation, making the site easier to access for all users.

October 2015: Login Area and Free Lottery Launched

Due to popular demand, a login area of Euro-Millions.com was launched, allowing users to enter and save tickets into the Checker. This was great news for those running syndicates, who were able to easily manage tickets and members of their syndicates.

The Free Lottery was also launched on the site, offering Daily and Weekly draw prizes for those who match the winning combination.

December 2018: New Languages Added

With Arabic, Dutch and Thai sections added to the site, Euro-Millions.com is now available in 13 languages! They are: English, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Dutch, Russian, Polish, Chinese, Thai and Arabic.

January 2020: A New Euro-Millions.com App

A new updated version of the app was launched after lots of hard work behind the scenes, bringing you fresh features to improve your experience. You are now able to scan your tickets (UK only) and see within a matter of seconds if you’ve won a prize. The old design has been thrown out and a completely fresh, modern layout has been implemented.

How to Play

Playing EuroMillions Plus is very similar to playing EuroMillions, but without the Lucky Stars. For an additional €1 per line, you can opt in to the Plus game when you purchase your main EuroMillions entries for the Tuesday draw, Friday draw, or both.

To add Plus to your ticket, you will need to select your EuroMillions numbers as usual and then tick the ‘Add EuroMillions Plus’ box located on the play slip. You will not need to pick any additional numbers, as those on your ticket are entered into both draws (with the exception of the Lucky Stars).

Five numbers are randomly drawn, with prizes awarded if your original EuroMillions numbers match three or more of the five ’Plus’ numbers drawn.

Prizes

There are three prize tiers available, with a guaranteed top prize of €500,000 for matching all five numbers.

Prize Tier Prize
Match 5 €500,000
Match 4 €2,000
Match 3 €20

Advance Play

The Advance Play option allows you to purchase your tickets up to eight draws in advance by simply ticking the Advance Play box for the number of draws you wish to participate in (e.g. one, two, four, six or eight). Any prizes won from an Advance Play ticket are claimed in the usual way.

  • Испанией;
  • Великобританией;

  • 28 процентов учредители направляют на реализацию благотворительных программ;
  • 12 процентов выделяют в счет государства;
  • 5 процентов выплачивают в качестве комиссий реализаторам лотерейных билетов;
  • 4,5 процента расходуется учредителями на расходы по игре;

2nd Tirage (2nd Loto draw)

Players can also take part in a 2nd Loto draw for an extra €0.80 per line. This is a separate draw which sees five numbers selected between 1 and 49 – the Chance number is not used in the 2nd draw. Ticket holders play with their same numbers from the main game, and win prizes for matching between two and five numbers. The winning combinations, odds and prizes are as follows:

Winning Combination Odds of Winning Prize
Match 5 1 in 1,906,884 €100,000
Match 4 1 in 8,667 Estimated €500
Match 3 1 in 201 Estimated €30
Match 2 1 in 14 Estimated €3

The jackpot prize and the Match 2 prize are fixed amounts. The other two prizes are pari-mutuel so the amount varies between draws. The fixed prizes are paid first using money from the prize fund, then of the remaining fund, 28% goes to players in the Match 4 category and 72% is allocated to Match 3.

Keep an Eye Out for EuroMillions Superdraws!

A few times a year, the EuroMillions lottery hosts special events called Superdraws. On these special draws, the jackpot is a guaranteed €100 million or more regardless of the previous jackpot. For the last EuroMillions Superdraw, the big jackpot was a whopping €139 million. If you want to know more about the biggest Superdraw winners, take a look our list!

EuroMillions Game Options Available Online

Buying your EuroMillions tickets online, you also gain access to some exciting game options that make the game even more fun and that actually increase your chances of scooping one of the big prizes. Here are the main options you have on theLotter:

Syndicates – An alternative to the standard ticket is purchasing a share in a EuroMillions syndicate. This means you participate in the game together with a group of players owning a large number of tickets, but paying for only a share of the cost. Bundles – Can’t decide between buying your very own EuroMillions ticket and getting a share in a syndicate? On theLotter, you don’t have to! You can play with both options for a better price! That’s right! Bundle packages get you an individual ticket and a share in a syndicate for a discounted price! You get a better price for experimenting with your game!

If you match the winning numbers for EuroMillions secondary prizes, you will have them on a lot of tickets, which means you win more prizes. It’s just like having your very own multiplier!

How My Million Works

A My Million code is automatically generated for every line of EuroMillions numbers purchased. There is no extra cost to enter the game.

Shortly after the main EuroMillions draw, one unique My Million code will be selected at random from all of the codes purchased for that particular draw. From time to time, special editions of My Million are held in which multiple prizes of €1 million are given away.

The odds of winning a My Million prize will vary from draw to draw as they are dependent on the number of EuroMillions tickets purchased, rather than correctly matching the numbers drawn in the main EuroMillions game.
